Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are the best example of “a girl can be a guys best friend,” and when it comes to them, loving competition is key. They love to help one another reach higher goals and push each other to the limits in their careers. It’s been speculated that Ed Sheeran opened up about his career and in a recent interview he revealed that one of his career goals involves being better than Taylor Swift.
And it wasn’t in an attacking manner either, he was loving about it stating:
“At the moment, Taylor [Swift] is a benchmark in America and a lot of other countries. In America, I want to catch up with her. I think it would take a lot more work because she’s obviously been going about 10 years more than me. If I passed her, I think she’d then get more competitive and do more stuff. I think it would only be healthy. Like her surpassing me in sales in the U.S., that’s healthy for me because I now want to get up to that point.”
Of course Ed would never attack his best friend for no good reason, it’s called healthy, loving competition and it’s a great idea—we just love seeing you two shine in the spot light, keep up the great work T-dawg. And Ed Sheeran, don’t ever forget, in this world you can be anything you want—get her because we’re ready to see how far her creativity can really go!
