Shia LaBeouf opens up to Variety magazine about his past & present!
Variety had the excellent opportunity to do a photo-shoot with Shia LaBeouf. And they said it was a ‘live-wire experience.‘ LaBeouf looked mighty sexy with his curly hair slicked back and his Nikes and old and torn pants.
The 30-year-old actor never allows them to do hair or makeup. (It’s a good example he’s setting) don’t you think? And while he’s friendly he’s also very firm in what he will and won’t do for the Variety and at the photo-shoot.
During the photo-shoot he pointed at the bottles of alcohol and asked for it all to be removed saying:
“No… That sh-t almost f-ked up my life.”
And it’s not secret that in half a decade Shia LaBeouf has been part of speculation, bizarre conspiracies and he even claimed a woman raped him during one of his “I’m not famous anymore,” events. The sad truth is Shia has been through a lot over the years but he knows how to stay strong and he also thanks his mom for that because he’s really close to his mom.
It’s been a rough road but he’s the perfect example of what it takes to be successful, firm but still put on a beyond perfect performance and keep your family, friends and fans engaged in your career. My favorite videos released so far has been his music video with Sia. The cinematography also blew me away. Shia is definitely doing a great job with the choices he’s been making in his career, don’t you think?
He opened up to Variety about the trials he’s been through. He said:
“I had people tell me it was going too [that his trials would hurt him professionally].” LaBeouf was honest during the interview. He continued “ People I respected—dudes I wanted to work with—just looked at me in the eyes and said, ‘Life’s t
oo short for this sh-t.’ I’m still earning my way back. I’m happy working.’
LaBeouf opened up about alcohol saying it will send you “haywire.” He said:
“You don’t touch it. Alcohol or any of that sh-t will send you haywire. I can’t f-k with none of it. I’ve got to keep my head up now.”
And to be honest that’s why he’s such a great example because we all make mistakes but that doesn’t mean we can’t learn from them and become a better person because of those trials, right? Shia LaBeouf is an example of falling but standing right back up again. And we’re glad that he’s “keeping his head up,” because he deserves to be happy.
And he’s happy he messed up a little bit because it Shia LeBeouf feels it did help him get where he is today. He said:
“I don’t think I’d be working with the directors I’ve been working with if I had not f-ked up a bit. They wanted a f-king fireball. They wanted a loose cannon. I’m learning how to distill my ‘crazy’ into something manageable, that I can shape and deliver on the day.” And because he didn’t have the tools he felt like he was bleeding out. He continued “I was an open would bleeding on everything.”
Shia LaBeouf has been through a lot and he’s a great person to learn from in life. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to learn about something in the industry or life in general (I think he would give great advice).
