Make-A-Wish foundation goes beyond helping children meet their favorite celebrity. Did you know it’s a crucial part of the treatment process. A wish come helps children become stronger, more energetic and willing to kick but when they are battling life-threatening medical conditions. The goal of Make-A-Wish is becoming a part of the treatment process. And that creates miracles in the lives of those children fighting to live their life.

On April 29, 2018 Make-A-Wish will be showing how a wish “makes a world of difference,” and how it takes “a world of magic.”

What does Make-A-Wish foundation do for children with life-threatening illnesses?

First they strive to fulfill wishes for children with life-threatening, medical conditions. They go forward fulling wishes by accepting referrals from everyone including parents, guardians, medical staff and even the children. The Make-A-Wish foundation takes wishes from all economic backgrounds, leaving no child behind. And as soon as a request is submitted the process begins, almost immediately because every wish is taken to heart. Make-A-Wish strives to fulfill every wish to the best of their ability.

According to a recent survey was conducted and the results are astonishing. They found Make-A-Wish that wishes are an important part of the treatment process. A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions. Other findings a few other findings.

  • 81 percent of parents observe an increased willingness by their wish kids to comply with treatment protocols
  • 92 percent of parents saw their children experience re-empowerment to take back the ability to make decisions in their lives.
  • 85 percent of parents observed a decrease in their children’s anxieties or fears and 92 percent of parents observed a reduction in fear and anxiety among wish kids’ siblings.

According to those statistics there’s no doubt that making a child’s dream come true, positively impacts their health and their fight against life-threatening illnesses.
