Alec Baldwin Is Coming to FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention 2026
FanX just added another major Hollywood name to its already packed 2026 lineup.
Alec Baldwin is officially coming to FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention, joining more than 100 celebrity guests expected in Utah for the three-day convention September 24–26, 2026.
And this one is a pretty big get.
Baldwin has spent decades bouncing between comedy, drama, action and animation — and somehow making himself recognizable to several completely different generations in the process. His credits include Beetlejuice, Working Girl, The Hunt for Red October, The Royal Tenenbaums, Along Came Polly, The Aviator, The Departed, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Mission: Impossible – Fallout and The Boss Baby franchise.
Of course, plenty of fans will always know him as Jack Donaghy from NBC’s 30 Rock. The role earned Baldwin two Primetime Emmy Awards, three Golden Globes and seven Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has also received nominations for an Academy Award, BAFTA Award and Tony Award during his career.
What makes the FanX appearance especially interesting is that Baldwin isn’t exactly a regular on the fan-convention circuit.
“Alec doesn’t do a lot of fan conventions like this, but he’s heard so much about FanX and how well our fans treat celebrities that he put us at the top of his list of can’t-miss shows for 2026,” FanX founder and show producer Dan Farr said in the announcement.
That means Utah fans are getting a relatively rare opportunity to meet him in person, with FanX attendees able to purchase autographs and photo opportunities during the convention.
And somehow Baldwin is only one name on an absolutely ridiculous guest list this year.
FanX has already announced appearances from Hayden Christensen, Gene Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland, Molly Ringwald, Mr. T, Ann-Margret, Jennifer Grey, Helen Hunt, Karl Urban, Jane Seymour, Rainn Wilson, Giancarlo Esposito, Angela Kinsey, Adam Savage, Misha Collins, Jodi Benson, Ashley Greene, Manny Jacinto, Keith David, Alan Tudyk, Lou Diamond Phillips and dozens more.
Yes. That is quite the group of people to have wandering around one building in Salt Lake City.
FanX says more celebrity announcements are still coming, with additional guests expected from franchises and fandoms including Marvel, DC, Disney, Star Trek, Star Wars, animation and classic ’90s television.
Beyond celebrity appearances, the convention is expected to feature more than 250 hours of panel programming along with more than 800 artists, vendors, exhibitors and cosplay groups.
Panels will range from celebrity conversations about past roles and upcoming projects to discussions and classes centered around writing, filmmaking and other creative industries.
FanX has grown into Utah’s largest pop-culture convention, and bringing Baldwin to Salt Lake City gives movie and television fans one more reason to start planning that September weekend now.
Because between Alec Baldwin, Hayden Christensen, Molly Ringwald, Gene Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland and the other hundred-plus guests already announced, deciding who you actually have time to meet may become the hardest part.
