7 Ryan Reynolds movies you have to watch!

Ryan Reynolds is such a hunky, funny and well-rounded man. He was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, Canada and developed a love for acting by the time he was 12-years-old. But it wasn’t until 1998 when he landed his first major television role playing a medical student In the sitcom “Two Guys and a Girl.” And after the show wrapped up in 2001 Ryan began acting in feature films.

Today, we want to share some of our favorite Ryan Reynolds movies.

1. The In-Laws (2003)

The In-Laws is a funny action comedy and will keep you laughing. The film follows a father and daughter but “Right before his daughter’s wedding, a mild-mannered foot doctor discovers that his future son-in-law’s father is a free-wheeling international spy.”

A lot of people have missed some of the best Ryan Reynolds movies simply because they didn’t know he was in so many before “The Proposal,” and “Deadpool.” But this is one of his films you should definitely sit down and watch because it’s absolutely hilarious! And it’s such a great throw back for all of his family, friends and fans.

2. Just Friends (2005)

Just Friends is another one of the Ryan Reynolds movies you’ll find yourself watching with laughter. “While visiting his hometown during Christmas, a man comes face-to-face with his old high school crush whom he was best friends with — a woman whose rejection of him turned him into a ferocious womanizer.”

Just Friends is a film you can actually relate with because we’ve all (probably) had a crush where they just weren’t as interested as you felt. This is one of the funnier Ryan Reynolds movies that you can fall in love with because it’s completely relatable. If you haven’t seen this one, be sure to add it to your list.

3. Fireflies in the Garden (2008)

Let’s be honest not all Ryan Reynolds movies are going to romantic and funny. Ryan has had the opportunity to star in many roles. Fireflies in the Garden is a drama but it keeps you on the edge of your chair. “The Taylor family is devastated by an accident that takes place on the day their matriarch is due to graduate from college — decades after leaving to raise her children.”

What happens when a family must fall apart before it can be glued back together? Check this Ryan Reynolds film out because it’s one of those films that switches the character we are used to seeing Ryan play on the big screen.

4. The Proposal (2009)

I have to say this is one of my favorite Ryan Reynolds films. What’s better than mixing it up three of the best actors in Hollywood? Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock and Betty White team up in this one and it’s beyond hilarious. “A pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.”

And the outcome is fantastic. You have to add The Proposal to your list of Ryan Reynold movies to watch because this one has become a classic in most people’s DVD collections.

5. Definitely, Maybe (2008)

What happens when “a political consultant tries to explain his impending divorce and past relationships to his 11-year-old daughter?” This Ryan Reynolds movie is a mix of comedy, drama and romance. There are so many Ryan Reynolds movies that are entertaining from beginning to end. And Definitely, Maybe isn’t an exception. The film is humorous and fun. The acting is fantastic and the film is absolutely up-lifting.

If you haven’t seen Definitely, Maybe then you can add this to your list of Ryan Reynold movies to watch because you won’t regret it’s positive and uplifting plot.

6. Deadpool (2016)

Okay, you’ve seen all the romantic Ryan Reynold movies. And you’ve seen all the dramatic Ryan Reynold movies but have you seen Deadpool? “A fast-talking mercenary with a morbid sense of humor is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and a quest for revenge.”

This is one of the newest Ryan Reynold movies to add to your movie list. This film is filled with action, adventure and a lot of comedy. The film is unique in so many ways. A lot of super hero movies are very serious but the characters in Deadpool are filled with so much personality and they give this film an extra touch of entertainment.

If your’e a fan of Ryan Reynolds and superhero movies, Deadpool is one film you won’t want to miss out on watching.

7. R.I.P.D. (2013)

I’ll admit that “R.I.P.D.,” is not a film many people have heard of even though it was released just three-years ago. “A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him.” This is one of Ryan Reynolds lesser known movies but it does keep you engaged and it has some a great combination of actors including Ryan Reynolds (of course), Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon. This one kind of reminds me of “Men in Black.” But it’s definitely a Ryan Reynolds film you’ll want to see as a fan.
